As modern cars have become pretty much “computers on wheels” the number of sensors continues to grow. Most vehicles have at least two oxygen sensors – one that monitors gasses leaving the combustion chamber, and one that monitors gases that leave the catalytic converter (this is the one that often needs to be replaced after catalytic converter is stolen).
